Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Apparel Processing Outfitter in Gainesville, FL to handle the full processing of apparel merchandise from receipt to stocking on the Sales Floor and in Receiving.

Responsibilities include processing shipments, replenishment, and maintaining pricing and signage while promoting a pleasant shopping experience for guests. This role requires basic merchandising knowledge and the ability to work with inventory systems and backroom organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required or better.
• Knowledge of inventory management and store systems preferred.
• Familiarity with plan-o-grams and visual merchandising standards helpful.

Responsibilities

• Process apparel shipments from receipt to stocking on the sales floor.
• Replenish merchandise to the sales floor per standards.
• Assist with pricing and signage of merchandise.
• Unload trucks as needed and keep work area organized.
• Provide exceptional customer service and assist guests.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system. 50%


• Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system. 10%


• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment. 10%


• Unloads trucks as needed. 10%


• Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise. 5%


• Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies. 5%


• Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible. 5%


• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests. 5%

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

• Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.


• Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.


• Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.


• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters.


• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.

• Regularly walks, stands, and does computer work.


• Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.

Starting Pay Rate: $15.00 - $17.75
