Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in El Paso is seeking an Apparel Processing Outfitter responsible for processing apparel shipments from receipt to stocking on the selling floor and in Receiving.

You will adhere to Visual Merchandising standards, replenish stock, unload trucks, assist with pricing and signage, and keep backrooms clean, organized, and well stocked while delivering friendly, professional service to guests.

This part-time position supports backroom operations and teamwork in a dynamic retail setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Knowledge of Visual Merchandising standards and planograms.
• Able to use inventory management and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Process apparel shipments from receipt to stocking on the sales floor and receiving.
• Replenish merchandise on the sales floor per standards and reports.
• Assist with pricing and signage; ensure backroom organization and cleanliness.
• Unload trucks as needed and maintain stocked work area.
• Provide friendly, professional service to guests and maintain relationships with staff.

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system. 50%
• Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system. 10%
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment. 10%
• Unloads trucks as needed. 10%
• Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise. 5%
• Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies. 5%
• Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible. 5%
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests. 5%
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

• Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.
• Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.
