Bass Pro Shops in Colorado Springs is hiring an Apparel Processing Outfitter to manage the intake and stocking of apparel merchandise. You will process receipts, maintain inventory accuracy, and support front- and backroom operations to ensure a well-organized sales floor.

This part-time role requires diligence with merchandising standards, effective communication with guests and teammates, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process apparel merchandise at receipt in line with Visual Merchandising, MPS standards, and inventory systems.
• Replenish merchandise to sales floor per Visual Merchandising standards using inventory systems.
• Stay informed of advertised sales to support backroom organization and replenishment.
• Unloads trucks as needed.
• Assist with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise.
• Keep work area clean, neat, organized and stocked with supplies.
• Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible.
• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a pleasant shopping experience.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system. 50%

• Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system. 10%

• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment. 10%

• Unloads trucks as needed. 10%

• Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise. 5%

• Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies. 5%

• Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible. 5%

• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests. 5%

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.
• Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.

Regularly walks, stands, and does computer work.

Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.

Starting Pay Rate: $16.00 - $18.75
