Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Apparel Processing Outfitter to manage the end-to-end processing of apparel merchandise from receipt to stocking on the sales floor. The role emphasizes adherence to Visual Merchandising and inventory standards and effective replenishment to the floor.

The position supports unloading trucks, pricing signage, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace while delivering friendly customer service to guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to operate inventory systems and POS terminals.
• Attention to merchandising standards and backroom organization.

Responsibilities

• Process apparel shipments at receipt and stock on the sales floor.
• Replenish merchandise to the floor per Visual Merchandising Standards.
• Promote backroom organization and current sales via replenishment.
• Unload trucks as needed and assist with pricing signage.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked work area and organized backstock.
• Deliver friendly customer service and assist guests.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system. 50%
• Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system. 10%
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment. 10%
• Unloads trucks as needed. 10%
• Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise. 5%
• Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies. 5%
• Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible. 5%
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests. 5%
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.
• Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.

Regularly walks, stands, and does computer work.

Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.
