Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Apparel Processing Outfitter to manage the flow of apparel merchandise from receipt to backstock and floor stocking. You will follow Visual Merchandising and MPS standards and operate the inventory system to ensure accurate replenishment.

You will support backroom organization, assist with pricing, signage, and customer service, and perform other duties as assigned to maintain a premier shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Ability to use store computer systems and devices as noted.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process apparel merchandise at receipt following standards.
• Replenish merchandise to the sales floor per standards.
• Unload trucks as needed.
• Assist with pricing and signage.
• Maintain organized backstock and work area.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support guests.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system. 50%

• Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system. 10%

• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment. 10%

• Unloads trucks as needed. 10%

• Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise. 5%

• Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies. 5%

• Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible. 5%

• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests. 5%

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

• Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.
• Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.
