Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Christmas Assistant to support holiday operations in Mount Vernon and Anacortes. You will assist with kettle logistics, Angel Tree delivery, toy drives, and volunteer supervision during the Christmas season.

Responsibilities include coordinating volunteers, managing deposits, and ensuring paperwork and safety checks are completed for seasonal staff. This temporary role supports the Corps Officer and local operations during peak season.

Qualifications

• Six months related experience preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• Valid Washington State driver's license; ability to pass driving test and background check.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with holiday operations, donation kettles, and Angel Tree distribution.
• Coordinate and direct volunteers; manage driver schedules and routes.
• Drop off and pick up kettles, supervise kettle workers, and ensure paperwork is complete.
• Help with toy distribution setup, toy room organization, and toy drive partners.
