Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for a SEASONAL, 40-hour week day shift with on-call requirements. The role supports the Surgical Services department within a community hospital setting focusing on patient safety, teamwork, and high-quality perioperative care.

Ideal candidates will be graduates of an accredited surgical technology program, hold CST certification, and have at least six months of OR experience with BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a surgical technology program or equivalent.
• Surgical Technician certification is required.
• Six months of operating room experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant technical assistance to the surgeon within scope of practice.
• Follow professional standards and regulations set forth by AORN and AST.
• Be willing to cross-train and float to meet institutional needs.
• Contribute to a safe, collaborative operating room environment.
