• Assist the surgeon in the OR as a CST within the scope of practice.
• Follow current professional standards (AORN/AST) and be willing to cross-train and float.
• Contribute to safety and zero harm initiatives through teamwork and vigilance.
• Support patient care and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.

Education

Graduate of a surgical technology program or equivalent

Surgical Technician certification is required

Six months of operating room experience

Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
