Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a surgical technology program or equivalent.
• Surgical Technician certification is required.
• Six months of operating room experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgeon as a cooperative team member within OR scope.
• Follow AORN/AST standards and maintain sterile technique.
• Willing to cross-train and float to meet institutional needs.
• Support safety and quality care initiatives across the Surgical Services dept.
