Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for the Operating Room on a SEASONAL schedule. The position is 40 hours per week with a day shift and on-call coverage required.

The CST works as part of the Surgical Services team, assisting the surgeon, following AORN/AST standards, and cross-training as needed to support patient safety and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a surgical technology program or equivalent.
• Surgical Technician certification is required.
• Six months of operating room experience.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.

Responsabilités

• Provide surgical tech support in the OR and assist the surgeon within scope of practice.
• Follow current professional practice standards set by AORN and AST.
• Willing to cross-train and float to meet institutional needs.
