Job summary

Prince George's County Government seeks a Seasonal CDL Operator (Equipment Operator 1G) to safely operate light equipment in the Office of Storm Drain Maintenance. The role supports road construction, maintenance, and emergency response, requiring a CDL and DOT card.

Qualifications

• One year experience operating light power equipment.
• Valid Class A, Class B or equivalent CDL required.
• Must have a DOT medical examination.

Responsibilities

• Operate light equipment such as street sweeper, bucket truck, and other listed machinery.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Assist in snow removal operations and emergency weather response.
• Maintain records and reports for daily work logs and orders.
