Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager for a hands-on leadership role at a bustling summer camp operation. You will oversee culinary operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume on-site setting.

This seasonal on-site position runs May through Sept with a demanding 6-day/70-hour week. Successful candidate will live on-site, lead a dynamic team, ensure top food quality, safety compliance, and operate within budget while delivering

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch cooking experience.
• ServSafe Manager Certified; Allergens knowledge preferred.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to live on-site in rustic setting and work long, demanding hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train kitchen staff to maintain a high-energy service.
• Oversee daily culinary operations, portion control, menu specs, and timely meals.
• Manage allergen safety and sanitation standards across facilities.
• Administer inventory, food orders, and budgeting; track daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between campers, camp leadership, Wolfoods corporate office.
