Job summary

Seattle YMCA is seeking an Inclusion Specialist for Camp Coleman in Longbranch, WA. You will provide direct support to campers needing extra help with mental, emotional, and social health, while ensuring safety and supervision at all times.

The role offers full-time seasonal work with on-site housing, opportunities to collaborate with the leadership team, and engagement in camp activities and events. Prior camp and supervisory experience is valued for strong caregiving and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience with children in camp, childcare, tutoring, nannying, or coaching.
• Prior camp experience preferred.
• Experience leading others as a supervisor or lead is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist with camper supervision, ensuring safety and accounting for campers at all times.
• Collaborate with unit directors and medical staff to support campers with behavioral, health, or life-situation needs.
• Communicate with parents/guardians for updates and tips on working with campers.
