Job summary
Duininck in Texas projects is seeking a seasonal, full-time blade operator to support asphalt and road construction. You will operate heavy blade equipment, read grade stakes, and work with GPS/laser systems on outdoor sites.
Expect travel across Texas and overtime during peak seasons. You will join a safety-focused team providing essential infrastructure work for military runways, DOT roads, and aviation facilities, with a comprehensive benefits package including health plans, PTO, per diem,
Qualifications
- Operates blade equipment safely and efficiently.
- Reads grade stakes and works with grade checker, laser, or GPS.
- Adheres to all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Willing to travel throughout Texas.
Responsibilities
- Safely operates blade to achieve specified grading.
- Reads grade stakes and maintains grade using GPS/laser.
- Coordinates with crew using hand signals to ensure safety.
- Inspects and maintains equipment daily, reports issues.
- Prepares equipment for transport and keeps jobsite clean.
- Follows supervisor instructions closely.
