Job summary

Duininck is a fourth-generation, 100-year family-led company building relationships with customers, employees and vendors. You will join specialized infrastructure projects across Texas and Oklahoma, producing hot mix asphalt for military runways and constructing roads for transportation departments.

This seasonal, full-time role includes strong benefits and overtime based on experience. Essential duties include safely operating the blade, reading grade stakes with laser or GPS, mentoring crew

Qualifications

• Must understand safety regulations and PPE requirements.
• Seasonal, full-time position with overtime based on experience.
• Willingness to travel throughout Texas.

Responsibilities

• Safely operates blade to achieve the specified grading.
• Reads grade stakes and uses grade checker, laser, or GPS to maintain grade.
• Works with crew members using hand signals to coordinate work and ensure safety.
• Performs daily inspection and maintenance and keeps machine in safe, proper working order.
• Reports equipment needs maintenance or repair to the shop.
• Keeps equipment clean and prepared for transport.
• Maintains orderliness, cleanliness and safety at the jobsite.
• Follows supervisor’s instructions closely.
