Job summary

POM Wonderful is seeking a Seasonal Non-Exempt Hourly Production Supervisor in California to lead daily production during peak season, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency and strong team engagement. You will supervise operations, coach staff, and uphold lean manufacturing principles while fostering cross-functional collaboration with quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams.

As a hands-on leader, you’ll drive KPI performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and support seasonal staffing,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Lean manufacturing and 5S knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production operations to achieve shift targets for safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Directly oversee, coach, and support production employees, providing feedback and training.
• Maintain and enforce safety policies with regular checks and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with all quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Drive efficiency by monitoring KPIs, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements.
• Communicate during shift handoffs, meetings, and updates.
• Partner with maintenance and engineering to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Support seasonal staffing including onboarding and training.
• Promote a respectful, inclusive, team-oriented environment aligned with company values.
