Job summary

POM Wonderful in Del Rey, CA, is seeking a Seasonal Production Supervisor for the 1st shift to lead daily production activities during peak season. You will supervise and coach teams, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to meet targets.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, lean practices, and flexible scheduling, including weekends and extended shifts during peak season.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
• Lean manufacturing principles, 5S, or similar process improvement methodologies a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production operations to achieve shift targets for safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Directly oversee, coach, and support production employees, providing feedback, training, and performance guidance.
• Maintain and enforce safety policies, conduct regular safety checks, and engage employees in safe work practices.
• Ensure compliance with all quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Drive efficiency by monitoring KPIs, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing process improvements.
• Communicate clearly during shift handoffs, meetings, and daily production updates.
• Partner with maintenance and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
• Support seasonal staffing needs including onboarding, training, and team integration.
• Promote a respectful, inclusive, and team-oriented environment aligned with company values.
