Job summary

Gamble Sands in Brewster, WA is seeking a driven part-time bartender for a seasonal 6-month assignment. You will stock, mix and serve beverages, handle cash, and use the POS system while upholding state liquor laws and safety practices.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of bartending experience, 21+ age, cocktail and wine knowledge, and Alcohol Awareness Training. Benefits include healthcare, retirement plan, and paid time off per Washington/state rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1 year bartending experience or training.
• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol.
• Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control and communicates needs to management in a timely manner.
• Ensures compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening and closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Utilizes Point of Sale System and handles cash transactions.
• Reviews banquet calendar and serves catered events from service or portable bars.
