Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and one year bartending experience or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.

Responsibilities

• Stocks bar, mixes and serves beverages; assists in cost control and inventory records.
• Maintains inventory control and communicates needs to management.
• Ensures compliance with state liquor laws and SOPs.
• Communicates guest requests to the Department Manager.
• Performs opening/closing duties including inventory, cash handling, and restocking.
• Utilizes Point of Sale system for transactions.
• Reviews banquet schedule and events; serves catered parties.
• Occasionally serves meals to guests.
• Adheres to safe work practices and performs other duties as required.
