Job summary

Castaway in Burbank is seeking a skilled Bartender Mixologist to elevate our bar program. You will craft exceptional cocktails, develop new recipes, and ensure top-tier guest experiences in a fast-paced setting.

You should have at least 2 years of experience, deep knowledge of spirits, and a passion for creativity. We offer competitive pay, gratuities, and benefits including health plans and 401k; weekends and holidays availability is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years as Mixologist or Bartender in upscale settings.
• Available on Friday and Saturday afternoons/evening and Sunday mornings/afternoons.
• Deep knowledge of spirits, liqueurs, bitters, and other ingredients used in mixology.
• Ability to craft unique and balanced cocktails and provide personalized recommendations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong multitasking abilities in a high-paced environment.
• Creativity and a passion for pushing the boundaries of mixology.
• Understanding of responsible alcohol service and compliance with local laws.
• Commitment to a clean and organized workspace.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

As our Bartender Mixologist, you will play a pivotal role in elevating the bar experience for our discerning clientele. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Creating and serving exceptional cocktails that showcase your expertise in mixology.


• Developing and experimenting with new cocktail recipes and innovative techniques.


• Mastering classic cocktails and ensuring their consistent execution.


• Providing guests with an unforgettable experience, offering personalized recommendations, and engaging in lively conversation.


• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and bar etiquette.
