Pay: $85,000-90,000 / year

Beverage Program Management

• Maintain and update the beverage menu regularly, considering market trends, guests' preferences, and seasonal offerings
• Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing beverage supplies
• Ensure accurate and efficient cost control measures are in place to optimize profitability in restaurant and banquets
• Uphold all beverage laws and responsible alcohol service standards
• Ensure accurate inventory operations that include weekly purchasing budgets that include banquet operations
• Train and educate the staff on beverage knowledge, service techniques, and proper pouring and presentation
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and development among the beverage team
• Ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional beverage service and quality
• Monitor guest feedback and reviews related to the beverage program, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create harmonious food and beverage pairings that enhance the overall guest experience

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in managing beverage programs in upscale high volume (over $15MM) dining establishments
• Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, including current trends and industry best practices
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills
• Ability to train and mentor staff effectively
• Proficient in inventory management and cost control techniques
• Understanding of local regulations and compliance related to beverage service
• Passion for providing excellent guest experiences
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Experience

• Strong knowledge of Food & Beverage service procedures, strong background in hospitality in a full-service, upscale high-volume restaurant environment
• Innovative with an advanced knowledge of spirits, wines, craft cocktails and overall mixology
• 3 years' related experience as an AGM, Beverage Manager, or similar role in an upscale, high-volume restaurant/bar/lounge environment
