Job summary

Castaway is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences at our renowned California venue. You will greet guests, describe menu items, and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.

Requirements include 2+ years in a full‑service restaurant (fine dining preferred), excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Weekend and holiday shifts are mandatory.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible on delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to provide courteous, efficient, and attentive service, ensuring that guests feel welcomed, valued, and comfortable throughout their entire visit.

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival.
• Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, daily specials, and beverage options.
• Guide guests through their dining experience, accurately relaying food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar staff in a timely manner.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring adherence to established service standards.
• Anticipate and fulfill guests' needs, addressing any requests or concerns in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all orders before delivery to guests.
• Process cash and credit card transactions with precision and efficiency.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including clearing and resetting tables as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service and contribute to a positive, efficient work environment.
