Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a high-volume restaurant or catering company.
• Open availability and ability to work weekends.
• Proficiency in basic baking and finishing work.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Prep food according to recipes and standards.
• Produces recipes efficiently and quickly to spec.
• Finishes and pack out per timeline and specifications per BEO.
• Ability to manage timelines and production of multiple products.
• Keeps space, ingredients and paperwork organized.
• Adhere to daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Load and label speed racks according to event.
• Check production counts.
• Verify ingredients prior to starting production.
• Reports to and communicates with Chef regarding menu/recipe accuracy.
• Exemplifies a working knowledge of hierarchy in a professional kitchen.
• Maintain safety and hygienic requirements by health code.

This candidate is excellent at production, finishing work, maintaining a clean work environment, and keeping to all timelines while working in a high-volume kitchen.Theirstrengths present with calm confidence in daily operation, they have the ability to complete food-based projects with or without direct supervision, and they find motivation in the 'why' we deliver excellence at every level.
