Job summary

Encore Global is seeking a Seasonal Audio-Visual Technician to set up and operate basic AV systems for events in a hotel/convention center environment. You will work under an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology to ensure flawless events and excellent guest service.

The role offers full-time benefits, overtime, hands-on training, and opportunities to reapply for future opportunities based on performance. Physical demands include lifting and irregular hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• Additional DOT requirements may need to be met if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown basic audiovisual equipment as listed in qualifications.
• Exceed client expectations and maintain positive relationships with guests.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues promptly and professionally.
• Handle orders, invoicing, and data entry in Navigator as needed.
• Interact with clients and vendors to ensure seamless events.
