About the Role

Kovah is seeking a project-based SEO Content Writer to support our content strategy and organic growth initiatives. You will craft SEO-optimized website pages and content briefs that enhance our clients' rankings and conversions. Additionally, you will leverage AI tools (like ChatGPT) to increase production efficiency while maintaining high quality. This is a 100% remote, part-time contract role with a monthly retainer based on project hours. We are looking for a senior-level SEO expert who can write, prompt AI, and deliver quickly.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in SEO content strategy
• At least 1 year of experience using AI tools for prompting and writing
• Deep understanding of on-page SEO and content frameworks
• Experience with content briefs and SERP analysis
• Background in agency or freelance environments is a plus
• Ability to conduct keyword research and clustering
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing SEO content (website pages, persona development, etc.)
• Skill in developing briefs based on search intent
• Experience monitoring performance and adjusting strategies accordingly
• Knowledge of internal linking strategies
• Ability to maintain consistency with brand voice
• Familiarity with Google Search Console & Analytics, Screaming Frog, Grammarly, Hemingway, and ChatGPT or similar AI tools

Hourly Rate: $15–$20/hour

Type: Monthly retainer based on scoped hours

Status: Temporary contract with potential for growth
