Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; some college/trade school preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of mechanical seal equipment experience in relevant markets.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude is a plus.
• Able to read, write and understand simple instructions and memos.
• Ability to present information clearly in one-on-one or small groups.
• Basic arithmetic: add/subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide with tens/ hundreds.
• Capable of understanding and completing instructions in written, oral or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and assemble rotating equipment per repair packet and router.
• Complete DCI and document wear/condition of critical components.
• Take inspection photos and use equipment to document assembly.
• Identify and evaluate material; determine repair operations and BOM accuracy.
• Perform simple shop operations and verify specifications; initiate work orders.
• Receive and assess returned parts; determine repairability against drawings.
• Perform basic operations on drill press, grinder, bead blast polisher, and lapping machine.
