Job summary

REGENT Craft Inc. seeks a Manager, Flight Controls & GNC to lead the team responsible for guiding Seagliders from dock to dock, including autopilot, mode transitions, and sensor inputs.

You will build and mentor the controls group, review models and code, and own the path from prototype to production with the highest assurance level. A unique chance to shape next‑gen coastal transport.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in flight controls or adjacent vehicle-controls discipline.
• Track record of taking control laws from development through flight.
• Ownership of technical delivery and testing milestones.
• Deep expertise across controls domains with systems fluency.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop the team, define structure and ownership.
• Stay hands-on with control models, analyses, and code.
• Own the controls release train into flight test.
• Advance production certifiable controls with the certification team.
• Establish common controls tooling across vehicles.
• Match rigor to criticality with flight-test-informed decisions.
• Integrate controls with simulation, autonomy, embedded, aero, and systems.
