Job summary

REGENT Craft Inc. is seeking a Senior Mission Software Engineer to drive the vehicle-level software for the Seaglider, tying guidance, navigation, control, and health monitoring together. You will develop and integrate software across avionics, leading us from prototype to production with sea trials and autonomy milestones ahead.

You’ll mentor junior engineers, uphold coding standards, and collaborate across software, controls, perception, and hardware teams to ensure reliable, scalable systems.

• Experience developing software for vehicles or robots, especially aerospace or automotive.

Responsibilities

• Build the vehicle software framework: interfaces between subsystems and data flows.

• Integrate software on real vehicles: bring-up, drivers, tuning during tests.

• Build for reliability: telemetry, logging, fault management, rollback processes.

• Support test operations: manage software integration schedules for tests.
• 5
• Partner with autonomy: define vehicle-side interfaces for autonomy stack.

• Mentor earlier career engineers and uphold coding guidelines.
