Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Los Altos, CA is seeking a Seafood Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation duties in the seafood department. You will help maintain fresh displays, assist with sampling, and ensure safety and quality in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing displays by checking quality and stocking.
• Maintain accurate department signage and pricing.
• Keep back stock in order.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized environment.
• Assist with sampling program; keep areas full and clean.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, and surfaces.
• Prepare and label cooked fish; handle fish processing as needed.
• Assist with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrive on time, groomed and ready; attend trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service and use suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximize sales through proper prep, storing, rotating, and merchandising.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment and workspace.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties; ensure pricing accuracy.
• Report safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
