The Fresh Market & You in Florida seeks a Seafood Specialist to own seafood inventory accuracy, rotation, and presentation while ensuring product freshness and adherence to food safety standards. You will drive guest engagement, support promotions, and uphold high merchandised standards across the department.

The role emphasizes teamwork, hospitality, and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced store environment, with opportunities to contribute to seasonal events and front-end support

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all seafood products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of seafood items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.

• Support front-end operations during peak business times as a cashier or in other areas.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.
