Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a seafood team member to help with counter service, stocking and sanitation. You will ensure fresh displays, accurate signage, and a safe, clean environment while delivering friendly service and supporting store programs.

You will assist with sampling, maintain product quality, follow procedures, and help with inventory. The role requires flexibility for nights/weekends and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing displays; keep cases stocked and clean.
• Maintain department signage and pricing accuracy.
• Keep back stock in good order.
• Maintain a safe, clean working and shopping environment.
• Assist with sampling programs; keep areas full and neat.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, floors, drains.
• Prepare fish (skin, bone, cook/smoke) and label accordingly.
• Assist with periodic inventory checks.
• Arrive on time, groomed and ready; attend trainings and meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service; use suggestive selling; answer phones promptly.
