Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a team member to support the seafood department with counter service, stocking, and sanitation. You will help maintain fresh displays, assist customers, and participate in the department's sampling program while following health and safety standards.

Responsibilities include keeping cases clean and correctly labeled, performing opening, mid, and closing duties, and collaborating with teammates to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide excellent customer service and assist customers promptly.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all seafood products and display standards.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh, appealing seafood displays and stock levels.
• Keeps signage and pricing accurate and up to date.
• Maintains clean back stock and department area.
• Ensures a safe, clean, and organized working environment.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps sample areas tidy.
• Cleans cases, glass, signs, uprights, and equipment as required.
• Supports with cooking or smoking fish and labeling as needed.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and reports hazards.
