Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a seafood team member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation in the seafood department. You will ensure a clean, fresh display and assist customers with product knowledge and selections.

You will follow all health and safety regulations, maintain pricing, and participate in inventory and training activities as needed. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to sell proactively.
• Basic knowledge of all products in the seafood department.
• Ability to visually inspect product quality and freshness.
• Reads labels and learns product details.

Responsibilities

• Keep cases clean, stocked, and well displayed with fresh products.
• Maintain accurate signage and pricing in the department.
• Prepare, portion, and label seafood items as needed.
• Provide courteous service and assist customers with selections.
• Support sampling, inventory checks, and safety procedures.
• Follow health, sanitation, and Weights & Measures guidelines.
• Assist with opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
