Job summary

King's Fish House is seeking servers to guide guests through an exceptional dining experience, featuring seasonal dishes and specialty drinks. You will be part of a team that values hospitality from the heart and a strong service culture.

We offer training, flexible hours, and dining discounts while you develop culinary knowledge and guest service skills. Applicants must be 18+, be able to serve alcohol, and communicate clearly in English.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Minimum 1 year of full-service experience.
• Some wine or cocktail knowledge is preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent; college is a plus.
• Current California Food Handler's Card is required.
• Clear verbal and written English communication with guests and staff.
• Basic math skills for POS and handling payments.
• Ability to learn and follow service standards.

Responsibilities

• Take guest orders and utilize upselling techniques.
• Input orders into the point-of-sale system accurately.
• Serve food and beverages, including wine, to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned station.
• Assist expeditor and communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Process payments and close out per restaurant standards.
• Provide friendly, professional service to all guests.
