Job summary

#7 Spring Hill is seeking a Seafood/Meat Service Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service while helping customers with seafood and meat selections and preparing items to order.

You will cut, wrap, weigh and price products, stock shelves, and assist with receiving and inventory while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; prior experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with seafood/meat selections.
• Prepare knife-ready products for sale (slice, trim, wrap, weigh and price) according to our standards.
• Assist in product receiving, inventory and storage.
• Stocks and rotates frozen items, prepared meats and fresh meat/seafood in sales area.
• Maintains safety and sanitation standards in all areas that come in contact with meat/seafood and in prep areas, coolers, freezers and sales floor.
• Maintains high quality and freshness with products available for sale. Ensures all products are in date.
• Communicates customers requests/concerns to management.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

A Seafood/Meat Clerk provides a high level of prompt and friendly customer service, assists customers with questions and special orders, ad needs, while maintaining a positive, customer focused work environment.
