Job summary

Halperns' Steak & Seafood in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Seafood Cutter for first shift. Responsible for cleaning, cutting, portioning, and merchandising seafood products to meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Post High School or specialized training preferred.
• A minimum of one year of experience as a professional cutter is required.
• High-end fish/seafood processing experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, trims, and debones products for future processing.
• Inspects and removes defects, bruises, or blemishes from the product.
• Weighs product and tag containers for weight and contents.
• Follows HACCP, Quality Assurance, and safety regulations.
