Job summary

Whole Foods Market seeks a Seafood Team Member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation in the seafood department. The role emphasizes courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members, while following SOPs and health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities include maintaining fresh displays, accurate signage, and clean back stock; assisting with sampling; cleaning cases and equipment; preparing fish products; and supporting periodic inventory.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fresh, appealing displays and rotate products as needed.
• Keep cases, signs, and pricing accurate and clean.
• Maintain back stock and overall department organization.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well‑organized work area.
• Assist with sampling, keeping areas tidy and attractive.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, coolers, and floors as required.
• Prepare fish products (skin, bone, cook, label, date).
• Assist with periodic inventory and restocking duties.
• Be punctual, groomed, and ready for scheduled shifts.
• Provide excellent customer service, address needs promptly.
• Use proper procedures for prepping, storing, stocking, merchandising.
• Follow health, sanitation, and safe‑work practices.
• Report hazards or safety violations immediately.
• Perform additional duties assigned by leadership.
