Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a seafood team member to support counter service, stocking, and sanitation in the seafood department. You will provide courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members while adhering to health and safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining displays, signage, stock, and cleanliness; performing opening/closing duties; and assisting with inventory. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Proactive customer service and selling skills.
• Ability to learn product knowledge across department.
• Ability to visually assess quality and freshness.
• Familiarity with labeling, pricing, and stock procedures.
• Ability to participate in periodic inventory checks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fresh, appealing displays by checking quality and stocking.
• Maintain accurate department signage and pricing.
• Keep back stock organized and accessible.
• Maintain a clean, safe working and shopping environment.
• Assist with sampling program and keep areas tidy and inviting.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and Weights & Measures procedures.
