Job summary

ShopRite is seeking a Seafood Manager (Inserra NJ) for the Wayne location. Direct and supervise the Seafood Department and its associates to achieve department goals in line with ShopRite service priorities.

Responsibilities include ensuring HACCP compliance, food safety, and accurate pricing; leading and training staff; and delivering a positive customer experience while maintaining department presentation and stock.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak English and interpret information.
• Basic math skills required for reports and measurements.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Proficient with basic computer functions.
• Able to interact with customers and lead a team.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others and meet schedules.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Seafood Department operations to meet sales and customer goals.
• Ensure safety, food safety, and HACCP compliance in all duties.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, friendly service; promote promotions.
• Onboard and train department associates; provide feedback and development.
• Maintain department presentation, pricing accuracy, and stock levels.
• Oversee staffing and scheduling to meet business needs.
