The Fresh Market is seeking a Seafood Specialist to lead the seafood department, ensuring product freshness, accurate merchandising, and strict food safety standards. You will own seafood inventory accuracy and presentation while supporting guest engagement and seasonal promotions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all seafood products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of seafood items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Support front-end operations during peak business times as a cashier or in other areas.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.
