Job summary

ShopRite is seeking a Seafood Manager for the Belmar, NJ area to direct all Seafood Department functions and supervise Associates. You will drive sales, profit, and a positive Customer Experience under the guidance of the General Store Manager.

The role emphasizes safety, food handling, and team leadership, with responsibilities including training, scheduling, and ensuring department standards are met.

Qualifications

• Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and regularly lift 25 lbs., and occasionally lift 60 lbs.
• Ability to interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions and activities of the Seafood Department.
• Lead Associates to achieve department goals and provide training.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance per policies and regulations.
• Ensure proper stocking, pricing, and display of seafood products.
• Uphold customer service standards and engagement.
