Job summary

ShopRite of Lyndhurst in Lyndhurst, NJ is seeking a Seafood Manager to lead the seafood department, supervise Associates, and drive sales, service, and department performance under the guidance of the General Store Manager.

You will enforce safety standards, HAACP practices, stock rotation, price labeling, and compliance with local regulations, while delivering a friendly customer experience and coordinating training for staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand for extended shifts.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. and occasionally 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed across the department.
• Lead Associates to achieve department goals and maintain high engagement.
• Maintain product presentation, labeling, and stock levels in accordance with policy.
• Monitor temperature logs, cleaning schedules, and QA standards.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
