Job summary

ShopRite of Burlington is seeking a Seafood Manager to direct and supervise all functions of the Seafood Department. You will lead associates, drive sales, ensure food safety, and maintain high customer service standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to train staff, manage schedules, and uphold department priorities. This is a hands-on, people-focused leadership position in Burlington, NJ.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for a full shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. regularly and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work with products and in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all Seafood Department functions and associates.
• Lead department goals for sales, profit, and customer experience.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance across the department.
• Greet customers, train new staff, and promote teamwork and efficiency.
• Maintain department appearance, stocking, labeling, and price integrity.
• Oversee safety procedures, equipment use, and temperature logs.
