Job summary

ShopRite of Lacey in Lanoka Harbor, NJ is seeking a Seafood Manager to lead the Seafood Department, supervise associates, and drive sales, customer experience, and operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes food safety, presentation, and efficiency under the direction of the General Store Manager, with responsibilities spanning training, scheduling, and performance management.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of the Seafood Department.
• Engage and lead Associates to achieve department goals.
• Provide onboarding, training, and feedback to Associates.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with QA standards.
• Maintain temperature logs and production records.
• Coordinate with Store Management on department performance.
