Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support test strategies, plans, environments and reports for manual or automated testing.
• Define automation strategies and cases for functional, regression, and system testing.
• Review requirements for testability and define test data, manual and automated test strategies, with an automation first mindset.
• Develop, enhance and deploy automated functional tests, integration tests and system end-to-end tests.
• Development of manual tests to supplement automated tests.
• Integrate and maintain hardware/software test environments, including test racks.
• Execute test cases, test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts, validate results and provide first-tier triage for issues found during test execution.
• Document test results, issues found, and generate test reports.
• Collaborate with Test and Development teams to ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions for issues.
• Reproduce, debug, isolate and report issues and verify fixes.
• Evaluate and convert manual test cases into automated test cases.
• Work closely with Development and Test teams to transform testing into a CI/CD environment.
• Position involves working at test racks in a lab environment.
