Job summary

Amazon in Seattle is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test to shape automated testing strategies across Alexa devices. You will design, implement, and scale test frameworks, collaborate with PM, SWE, and UX teams, and drive CI/CD integration with automation and AI-assisted tooling.

The role focuses on building tools to ease testing, validating features prior to customer release, and owning the automation strategy from day one of projects across our device ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience.
• Experience programming with Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience.
• Experience debugging, diagnosing, and troubleshooting complex, production software issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies aligned with product vision and customer use cases.
• Design and implement automated test frameworks to scale testing and maintain quality across regression cycles.
• Leverage AI-powered testing tools to efficiently test features and streamline debugging and triage.
