Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle is hiring for a software engineer to help ship high quality code across AWS. You will join the team that owns core testing platforms and shape AI-native software development at scale.

As a hands-on engineer, you will build and operate distributed testing systems, influence architecture and roadmaps, and collaborate with customers and managers to deliver reliable, scalable solutions in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture (patterns, reliability, scaling) for large systems.
• 1+ year of software development engineer experience.
• 1+ year of designing multi-tiered, distributed software applications and services.
• 1+ year of Object Oriented Design experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality technical solutions quickly and reliably.
• Build and operate distributed systems at global scale for test orchestration.
• Demonstrate good taste in developer experience and tooling design across the SDLC.
• Influence technical architecture and product roadmaps with leads.
• Meet with customers to learn goals and help achieve them.
• Set a high bar of technical and operational excellence for the team.
