Job summary
Apple Inc.Seattle, WA is seeking a Software Developer In Test to build automation tests and robust testing frameworks for backend services and ML pipelines. You will lead cross-functional QA efforts on a fast-moving team, contributing to design, coding, and quality practices across the SDLC.
The role requires strong software engineering, passion for quality, and experience with distributed systems. You will mentor peers, collaborate with stakeholders, and help implement best-in-class testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of software development or test automation experience.
- Master’s degree with at least 3 years, plus 3 years leading complex distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Java or Python and testing frameworks for distributed services.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain automation tests and testing frameworks.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive QA best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and guide tooling decisions.
- Identify process inefficiencies and drive quality improvements.
