Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to help us grow a portfolio of cloud graphics testing tools. You will design automated tests and frameworks for low-latency display protocols used by AWS services and remote desktop access across devices.

You will work with a distributed team in the US and Italy; the role offers opportunities to deepen cloud, mobile and client-side testing expertise, mentorship and career growth within AWS.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience.
• 1+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Experience designing or supporting low-maintenance automation frameworks.
• Experience in platform-level security mitigations and hardening for Linux and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop tools, frameworks and testing infrastructure to facilitate the testing and development cycles.
• Participate in design and code review, test tools/frameworks review.
• Lead effort towards simplifying test tools and technologies in terms of efficiency, effectiveness, stability, extensibility, and scalability.
