Job summary

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. As a Software Development Engineer on the Leo Space Engineering Applications team, you will design, implement, and maintain tools that support the satellite development lifecycle, data analysis, and automated testing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience on large systems.
• 1+ years of SDE or related experience in multi-tier distributed software.
• 1+ years of OO design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in CS/Engineering/Math.
• Experience programming in at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom software tools for engineering tasks.
• Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to understand needs.
• Implement scalable solutions for data analysis, simulation, and automation.
• Optimize tools and processes to improve productivity.
• Experience with systems integration and testing methodologies.
